山間の林業集落における民家を中心に、その空間の特質と風土・生業・文化などとの連関について調査・研究を行っています。空間に刻まれた歴史を尊重しつつ、現代の生活スタイルをふまえた活用の手法を検討しています。

In addition, I am also conducting research on the regional architecture formed by natural features, including the history, livelihood and culture of the inhabitants.
